Our Work
Rugby Link.
We partnered with Rugby Link to design and develop a dedicated digital ecosystem for the global rugby community. Built as a trusted platform connecting players, clubs, and agents, Rugby Link brings structure, transparency, and visibility to a recruitment process that has traditionally been fragmented and offline.

A Trusted Digital Ecosystem for Rugby.
Working closely with Rugby Link, we designed a platform that combines professional networking, recruitment tooling, and community engagement into a single connected experience.
At the core of the platform is a role-driven onboarding journey supporting players, agents, clubs, and fans. Each user type has its own tailored registration flow, permissions, and profile structure, allowing the platform to balance openness with trust and verification.
Player profiles were designed to go far beyond a traditional CV. Athletes can showcase career milestones, upload media, link highlights, share statistics, and control profile visibility through configurable privacy settings. This gives players greater ownership over how they present themselves to clubs and agents globally.
To support recruitment, we implemented a powerful search and discovery engine built around rugby-specific logic. Users can filter talent by position, contract status, rugby code, location, and availability, creating a far more targeted and efficient recruitment process.
Alongside recruitment, Rugby Link introduces a social layer designed to strengthen community engagement. A chronological activity feed, follow system, and social interactions create an environment that feels active and connected, while still maintaining a professional focus.
Under the hood, the platform was engineered with scalability, performance, and flexibility at its core. The frontend was built using Next.js, leveraging technologies such as React Server Components and Incremental Static Regeneration to deliver a fast, SEO-optimised experience across devices. On the backend, Laravel and Filament provide a secure and extensible foundation for user management, moderation, and platform administration, while Payload CMS enables a flexible, code-first content workflow for editors and administrators.
Social functionality, including activity feeds and interactions, is powered through GetStream integrations, allowing real-time community engagement without compromising platform performance. Meilisearch was implemented to support fast, rugby-specific search and discovery, while Stripe handles subscription and payment infrastructure. The platform is deployed within ISO27001-accredited hosting environments, with Docker-based deployment pipelines supporting consistent development, staging, and production workflows.
Following an extensive discovery, UX strategy, and prototyping phase, the platform successfully secured investment backing and has now moved into full development with us. The project is designed not only to modernise rugby recruitment, but to establish the foundations for a scalable sports networking ecosystem with long-term global potential.
