Pantheon Macroeconomics

Pantheon Macroeconomics is a leading provider of unbiased, independent, timely economic intelligence for financial market professionals around the globe. Their daily analysis reports available by subscriptions are viewed by a range of readers including banks, hedge funds, pension funds and many more, and are credited for their reliable and accessible, jargon free reports.

Pantheon Macroeconomics came to Arch looking to improve on their existing app offering. Launched 5 years ago, the application in place at the time had become dated, with options for modularised expansion limited, leaving it lacking functionality such as push notifications, smooth transitional animations and strong UX.

The app needed a complete overhaul to bring it inline with Pantheon Macroeconomics’ current brand guidelines, and a new introduction of modern functionality that would assist in retaining user levels throughout its lifetime.

Beginning with a Discovery period, we identified a process to design and develop the core functionality requested by Pantheon. Additionally, in this phase we noted a series of additional enhancements that would improve the user experience, including the introduction of perosnalised ‘homepages’ with segregated content tagging for paid and unpaid users. 

In order to achieve the best possible prospect for increasing user engagement, we worked with multiple user personas across the design and development phases. In doing this, we were able to introduce a new route to consuming Pantheon reports while simultaneously providing value adds for users both existing and new. 

Essential to the requirements of Pantheon, we improved geolocational tagging for content, allowing users to subscribe to a series of regions and industry types in order to surface relevant content. Alongside this we introduced powerful search mechanisms, adding to the ability for users to seek out and promptly find an array of content. Further to dynamic content surfacing, we introduced push notifications that allow users to instantly find out about pertinent changes within their markets.
